Sherline 2262 - 55° Straight Carbide Insert Holder, 3/8" shank
In addition to the P/N 2258 RH and LH 55° insert holder set, Sherline now manufactures a straight 3/8” shank holder for the popular 55° negative rake carbide inserts. This general purpose tool can be used in in either direction equally well. It takes the standard P/N 7605 carbide insert that has a .015” nose radius, providing a smooth finish without overloading the cutting capacity of small machine tools. The 3/8” shank holder is made from case hardened steel and has a durable black oxide finish. Included is one 55° insert, a Torx hold-down
screw and Torx key.

TOOL POSTS: Sherline 3/8” shank tools can
be held with the standard height P/N 7600 tool post or the 3/8”
riser tool post P/N 1289. For those who prefer using the P/N 2250
quick-change tool post set, there is now a special quick-change
3/8” shank holder P/N 2282.
